The days have pretty much passed when "historic home" was merely a code for "old" and the last refuge for the cash-strapped who couldn't afford a newer home.

As the owner of an old house in Long Beach, I thought it would be interesting to meet for coffee at my second favorite coffee shop in Long beach. Then we can walk across the street for the first Restoration Trade Fair (RTF).Â
